What are Appliances Costing the Planet?
On 22nd April the world comes together to celebrate Earth Day, an annual event demonstrating support for environmental protection. First held in the US in 1970, the day initially aimed to honour the Earth and the concept of peace at a time when war raged in Vietnam. Fast forward 44 years and Earth Day is now celebrated in over 190 countries and the order of the day is now environmental preservation and activism. Nowadays it’s celebrated by more than 190 countries worldwide and has seen increasing levels of eco-activism each year.
