We repair washing machines made by Bosch<\/a>, Neff<\/a>, and Siemens<\/a> very regularly, and we\u2019ve come to know a thing or two about how to indentify and fix error codes shown on washing machines<\/a> by these manufacturers.<\/p>\n Many of our customers get in touch with us asking for advice when they see an error code appear on their washing machine, so we thought we\u2019d put together a list of all the fault codes for Bosch, Neff, and Siemens washing machines with a digital display.<\/p>\n 01 or E17 \u2013 Water level error<\/strong><\/p>\n We would suggest you check to see the water supply to your washing machine is turned on. Also, if you can, check to see the hoses at the back of your machine are not blocked or kinked.<\/p>\n 02 or F02 \u2013 Heater error<\/strong><\/p>\n There is a fault with the heating element in your washing machine which may be preventing it from heating up.<\/p>\n 06 and 07 \u2013 NTC sensor error<\/strong><\/p>\n Check the connections and test the NTC if you know how to. If you don\u2019t, please seek the assistance of a qualified service engineer.<\/p>\n 08, 16, 34 \u2013 Door lock error<\/strong><\/p>\n The washing machine has not registered that the door has has closed properly. Check to see if it clicks shut. If not, check if the catch or the latch have been damaged.<\/p>\n F03 and F18 \u2013 Drain error<\/strong><\/p>\n The machine is not able to drain water properly. This could be caused by a blockage or a failure of the pump.<\/p>\n 04, 05, 21, 42, 43, 44 \u2013 Motor error<\/strong><\/p>\n This can be caused by a number of different things. Depending on your level of knowledge of washing machines, we would recommend checking the carbon brushes to see if they\u2019ve worn down. Other causes include faulty tacho connections and PCB modules.<\/p>\n 09 and F09 \u2013 Heating in the machine<\/strong><\/p>\n This is when the heating element turns on when it should not, for example during the rinse cycle.<\/p>\n 10 and F10 \u2013 Communication error<\/strong><\/p>\n If you can, check the connection between the motor and the module.
