You wouldn&#8217;t believe how many times we&#8217;ve found the fault to be with a socket rather than the appliance!<\/li>\n<li><strong>Drum not turning<\/strong><br \/>\nThis could be a number of things including; a faulty drum motor, the drum belt may have snapped or the timer switch may be faulty. You&#8217;ll need a qualified domestic appliance repair service engineer to take a look at this.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Clothes are not drying at all or enough<\/strong><br \/>\nThis could mean a faulty thermostat but the more common problem could be a faulty <a title=\"Tumble Dryer Repairs\" href=\"\/tumble-dryer-repairs.php\">tumble dryer<\/a> heating element. Some people may know how to replace these but for the majority of us it means seeking professional assistance.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Clothes dry too much, over heating, or burning<\/strong><br \/>\nWhilst again it could be a number of different things causing this issue it is quite likely to be a faulty thermostat in your tumble dryer.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Smell<\/strong><br \/>\nUsually the result of blocked filters. As a first port of call we would suggest cleaning this. If you&#8217;re unsure how to do this, consult the user manual for your specific model.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Loud and noisy<\/strong><br \/>\nFirstly check to see if there&#8217;s anything in the drum that could be knocking around inside whilst the machine is on. If not, it could be the tumble dryer bearings which need changing.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Turns on with door open<\/strong><br \/>\nFor safety reasons please turn your appliance off at the wall immediately.
