case study 1:Mr Underwood of Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire contacted Glotech with a faulty Whirlpool hood which had tripped the electrics. The engineer knew from his vast experienced this could of been caused by a blown bulb so it was the first thing he checked and he was right. Glotech carry a good van stock so he fitted a new cooker hood bulb straight away. The rest of the hood was tested and found be perfect working order. The time involved from call to fixed hood was under 48hrs.

Mr Richardson of Barnet, North London had a Neff D9610 cooker hood which was making loud noises and not doing a good job of extracting. He contacted Glotech who were able to come out the next day to repair the hood. The engineer soon found that the motor had seized and that it would require a new motor. The engineer looked up the part on his laptop including the price and the time it was going to take to come in. Being as Glotech have accounts with all manufacturers we were able to source the part for low price. The part was fitted a few days later and the hood was backing working like new again.
